Timely Management of the Credentialing Process
The preparation of credentialing applications for managed care plans, other third party payors, government programs, hospitals and related organizations have become an increasingly time consuming, costly and duplicative process. Despite recent efforts to streamline the process, improvements are slow in coming.
Healthcare Solutions WNY serves as a clearinghouse to minimize the burden on the individual physician, physician group, office staff and office manager / practice administrator. Timely completion of applications and persistent follow through can reduce and altogether avoid potential denial in services for inadequate paperwork.

Services Provided:
- Collect all required data elements and attachments
- Complete and submit all applications (insurance plans, hospitals, malpractice, nursing homes, etc.)
- Respond to requests for additional information and/or clarification
- Application for National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Maintain all pertinent credentialing documentation (e.g. DEA, license, board certification, malpractice insurance face sheets, CME’s, etc.)
- Maintain a confidential provider file of all credentialing documents (e.g. participating agreements, hospital applications, etc.)
- Distribute all renewed documents such as DEA, license, malpractice face sheet, updated CME’s, etc. to insurance carriers, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
